FAQ

What's the joining process?

At Monifieth, club membership and links membership are managed and paid for seperately. Depending on the type of ticket you require you may have to join a club before you join the links.  Club membership is required for:

  • Full ticket both courses
  • Any tickets where you receive a reduction for age (student)

Sight of your club membership receipt will be required at the time you apply for your Links Ticket. For restricted tickets, ( e.g.5 day Medal/7 or 5 day Ashludie, 7 day or 5 day Ashludie only ,club membership is not a pre-requisite. Membership application forms are available at the Medal Starters box (or online here) where you can apply and pay for your membership. At the start of the membership year, credit facilities are available for members who would like to pay in instalments. Full details are available from the Managing Secretary on 01382 535553.

How do I book a time?

Members can generally book times online, other than for peak usage times when a ballot system is in operation.  You can register here to use the online booking system. If you want to play during the following times, you will need to put in a ballot request and 3 names will be required.

  • Saturday until 1pm Medal and Ashludie courses
  • Sunday until 12 noon Medal and Ashludie courses
  • Wednesday until 6pm Medal course, 1pm Ashludie course

For all other days/times members can also request a regular weekly ballot time from the starters and we can arrange to carry these forward week by week should the times be available. No guarantees can be made in terms of ballot times at any time or on any day of the week.

Can I have a regular buggy?
Buggies are available for members to book for the discounted price of £10 per round. These must be pre-booked and are always subject to availability.
