Preparing for the new season

The greens have been verti-cut and top dressed with sand in order to prepare them for the new season, and make them smoother and faster!

Trees were removed from behind the 6th tee on Ashludie, since they were too close to the tee, and preventing the proper growth of grass; remedial work will now take place to improve that tee.

The fairways were sprayed to kill the moss a few weeks ago, and they have now been scarified, which will remove the moss, and improve the quality of grass. Hand patching of divots has commenced, and will continue throughout the summer.

Newly built bunkers (currently out of play) will have sand put into them soon; they are expected to be back in play in the near future – watch this space!
