ABOUT US

Welcome

Welcome to the Monifieth Golf Links Tour Operator page, created to provide all the key information you may need when planning and booking the Monifieth Links experience for your clients.

Our Medal Course was proud to serve as a qualifying venue for the Senior Open Championship in 2024 and is widely recognised as one of the finest examples of a traditional east coast championship links. In 2026, we are also delighted to host the Home Internationals, welcoming leading junior players from Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales.

We are currently working alongside renowned golf course architect Conor Walsh on a programme of enhancements to our historic links, ensuring the course continues to evolve while remaining true to its character and standing the test of time. Conor recently received global recognition after his new course, The Dunas, was named Best New Golf Course in the World, further highlighting the calibre of expertise supporting our future development.

Monifieth also holds a special place in golfing history. Recently, Tom Watson returned to the links where he first experienced links golf, and a commemorative plaque now sits proudly beside the first tee marking that moment.

Our Ashludie Course offers a wonderful contrast to the Medal. Shorter, strategic, and full of character, it is often described as a short-game exponent’s idea of heaven and provides an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all abilities.

If there is any information you require that is not available on this page, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team – we would be delighted to assist you. contact us.
